Below is the schedule for the Midwest Qualifier. Details may be updated as needed-please check back closer to the event.
Golfer check-in begins at 7:00 AM.
Tee time for practice round may be reserved from 7:00 until 12:00. Carts may be used for practice rounds, rental through the pro shop. Lunch will be provided.
A skills contest will be conducted during the practice round, consisting of driving, chipping, and putting, and prizes will be awarded to the winners of each age and gender division.
Tee times for the practice round may be made by reserving your tee time online.
Monday Night Banquet
Kristi Egnot was born and raised in Highland, Illinois, where she attended Highland High School and was an active member of the girls golf team and basketball cheerleading squad. During high school, she competed twice in the Illinois District Optimist Junior Tournament, an experience that helped shape her lifelong connection to junior golf.
Following graduation, Kristi attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she played on the women's golf team. After college, she built a diverse career in sports and youth athletics, working with organizations such as the American Junior Golf Association in Atlanta, the Memphis Redbirds AAA baseball team, and the Gwinnett Gladiators AA hockey team. She later continued her focus on youth development through roles with U.S. Kids Golf and PGA Junior League in Atlanta.
Kristi joined the PGA of America as a Regional Manager for PGA Junior League, based in Nashville, Tennessee, and has since advanced to the PGA of America Headquarters in Frisco, Texas. She is an Associate Member of the PGA of America and holds Expert status on the Rules of Golf through the USGA/PGA of America.
Kristi and her husband, John, reside in McKinney, Texas.
First round of Tournament play. Players will be paired according to the scores submitted during their registration with the divisions as follows: Boys 16-18, Girls 15-18, Boys 14-15, Girls 13-14, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, Girls 10-12. (Note: Boys 10-11 and Girls 10-12 Divisions will only play 9 holes on Tuesday.)
Parents/spectators will be allowed to use carts, but they will be restricted to the cart paths. Walking spectators will be restricted to the cart paths or rough areas. Contact with the players during the round is prohibited.
Marshals on the course will be available to assist as needed and to enforce course rules. Official rules will be handled by the Club Pro or his designee. Lunch will be provided.
Final day of tournament play. The field will be paired based on Tuesday's scores and the division order will be reversed with the boys teeing off on the front and the girls off the back: Boys 12-13, Boys 14-15, Boys 16-18, Girls 13-14, Girls 15-18. Boys 10-11 and Girls 10-12 will also tee off the back. (Note: Boys 10-11 and Girls 10-12 Divisions will only play 9 holes on Tuesday.) Lunch will be provided.
